GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – BASCLASS BV

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all agreements between Basclass bv (hereinafter: "the Organizer") and visitors (hereinafter: "the Visitor") of events organized by Basclass bv, including but not limited to the Beauville Festival.
1. Definitions
Organizer: Basclass bv, with registered office at Hoogstraat 47 001, 9000 Ghent, Belgium (company number BE0671441918).
Visitor: Any natural or legal person entering the event premises, with or without a valid ticket.
Event Premises: The location where the event takes place, including parking areas and adjacent zones.
Event: Events organized by Basclass bv, such as the Beauville Festival.
Ticket: An access pass granting entry to the event premises.
2. Accessibility
2.1. By entering the event premises, the Visitor agrees to these General Terms and Conditions.
2.2. The Organizer reserves the right to deny or revoke access in case of non-compliance with these terms.
2.3. Changes to these terms will be communicated via the Organizer’s website. If the Visitor does not submit a written objection within 10 working days of publication, they are deemed to have accepted the changes.
2.4. If any provision in these terms is declared invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
2.5. The Organizer may establish additional house rules, which apply alongside these General Terms and Conditions.
2.6. The minimum age for the event is 18 years. Age verification may take place at the entrance.
2.7. A ticket is valid for one person and only for the day(s) specified on the ticket.
2.8. Upon leaving the premises, a new ticket is required for re-entry.
2.9. The Visitor enters the premises at their own risk and releases the Organizer from liability for theft, accidents, or other damages.
3. Tickets
3.1. Tickets are exclusively available through the Organizer’s official sales channels, such as Paylogic.
3.2. Tickets obtained through unofficial channels may be refused or canceled.
3.3. By purchasing a ticket, the Visitor agrees to the terms of the ticket provider.
3.4. Resale of tickets is only permitted with the Organizer’s written consent.
3.5. The Visitor is responsible for checking the received tickets. Any issues must be reported to the Organizer immediately.
3.6. Tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is canceled (see Article 5).
3.7. No replacement or refund will be provided for lost or stolen tickets.
4. Access and Identification
4.1. Visitors must possess a valid ticket and a valid identification document.
4.2. Upon entry, the Visitor will receive a wristband, which is personal and non-transferable.
4.3. The wristband must be visibly worn throughout the event.
4.4. The Organizer reserves the right to admit non-paying visitors.
4.5. Identification checks may occur at any time. In case of mismatched information, access may be denied without refund.
4.6. Superficial security checks are mandatory. Refusal may result in denied access.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1. The Organizer reserves the right to deny or revoke access in case of:
Violation of these terms;
Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
Carrying prohibited items (weapons, drugs, pyrotechnics, etc.);
Unacceptable behavior (aggression, discrimination, theft, etc.);
Commercial activities without permission;
Refusal to undergo security checks.
5.2. Prohibited actions on the premises include:
Entering restricted areas;
Climbing on infrastructure;
Blocking access or evacuation routes;
Disturbing public order;
Selling products without permission.
5.3. Violators are responsible for all additional costs.
6. Cancellation or Relocation of the Event
6.1. In case of relocation or cancellation due to force majeure (weather, terrorism, government measures, etc.), no refund will be issued, unless the Organizer decides otherwise.
6.2. In case of cancellation, the Visitor will be offered the option of a refund or ticket conversion for a future edition.
6.3. The Organizer reserves the right to interrupt, stop, or evacuate the event if necessary for safety reasons.
7. Privacy and Intellectual Property
7.1. The Organizer collects and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). See the privacy policy for more information.
7.2. Visitors consent to the creation and use of image and sound recordings for promotional purposes.
7.3. Personal data may be shared with partners and authorities for safety and organizational purposes.
7.4. Visitors have the right to be forgotten, but this may limit their access to the event.
8. Cashless Payments (Beaucoins)
8.1. A cashless payment system is used at the event. Beaucoins can be loaded via payment terminals.
8.2. Beaucoins are only valid during the event and expire afterward.
8.3. No refund will be provided for lost or stolen wristbands with Beaucoins.
9. Liability
9.1. The Organizer is not liable for accidents, theft, or loss of property on the premises.
9.2. Technical issues, such as payment or ticket problems, are not the responsibility of the Organizer.
10. Persons with Disabilities
10.1. Visitors with disabilities can reserve an adapted parking space. A valid parking permit and written confirmation are required.
10.2. Wheelchair users may use backstage passages under escort in case of bad weather.
10.3. Assistance dogs are allowed, provided they are clearly identifiable as such.
11. House Rules
11.1. The house rules apply in addition to these General Terms and Conditions and are available on the website and at the event entrance.
12. Medical Assistance
12.1. A medical post is available on the premises. Visitors with chronic conditions are advised to bring a medical file.
13. Legal Provisions
13.1. These terms are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
13.2. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghent.
13.3. The Organizer reserves the right to take legal action in case of violation of these terms.
