Location

Beauville is located between Ghent and Deinze on the banks of the Leie, on the domain of ‘Kasteel Ooidonk’.

Address: Ooidonkdreef 9, 9800 Deinze

Traffic situation

We want to keep it pleasant and safe for everyone that weekend and have worked out the following plans in consultation with the police and fire brigade, which will be in effect that weekend.

Arriving

Cars, taxis and kiss & ride drive through the village to the car parks at the beginning of the Ooidonkdreef.

VIP cars use the Della Failledreef to get to the VIP car park. Those who do not arrive will be sent back irrevocably.

Pedestrians, cyclists and mopeds can go to the entrance via the car-free Ooidonkdreef from the village or the Della Failledreef, where bicycle and moped parking is located next to it.

Leaving

Visitors return on their steps. Stewards and police maintain order.

Cars drive from the parking lots at the beginning of the Ooidonkdreef through the village.

Taxis and kiss & ride approach the designated parking lot in front of the blue gate via the district and the tweekoningenstraat and drive through the village.

VIP cars drive from the VIP parking lot through the Della Failledreef to the Leernsesteenweg.

Pedestrians, cyclists and mopeds can use the car-free Ooidonkdreef through the village or the Della Failledreef.

Parking

Main parkings

The car parks are located along the Ooidonkdreef, close to the festival site. These are meadows that are being converted into parking lots. Driving plates have been provided at the entrance and exit to prevent subsidence. A farmer with a tractor is on standby in case heavy rain makes the site muddy that day. Each parking lot is well lit to allow safe exit at night.

VIP parking

VIPs receive a VIP parking card that they must present to the steward to gain access to the parking lot at the gate. VIPs without a parking card must purchase one at the parking lot.

Bicycle parking

Bicycles can be placed neatly in the bicycle racks provided in front of the entrance to the festival.

Public domain

Parking along the avenues is prohibited to avoid causing a nuisance. Cars will be irrevocably towed away and fined. If all parking lots are full, parking must be done safely along the public road (Leernsesteenweg). You can walk along the Ooidonkdreef.

Transport

Car/motorcycle

Please note that there is a changed traffic situation for this event: the site can be reached in one direction from the village where the parking lots are located together at the beginning of the Ooidonkdreef. You may have to queue in your car before you are assigned a parking space. Make sure you have enough to drink in the car when it is a hot day.

Car sharing

You can choose to carpool! It is more fun, safer and more ecological. Register and find a ride via www.eventpool.be. If one of these people is designated as designated driver in advance, you are completely safe!

Bike

Cyclists can use the Ooidonkdreef to use a spacious bicycle parking at the end of the avenue, next to the entrance.

Train

Deinze station is 6 km from the festival site. There is a direct bus connection (Line 16) that will drop you off at the Sint-Martens-Leerne Dorp bus stop after 20 minutes.

Bus

The Sint-Martens-Leerne Dorp bus stop is an 18-minute walk from the festival site. Line 16 Deinze - Nevele - Drongen - Ghent runs on Saturdays and Sundays.

There is adapted parking near the entrance. You can use an adapted toilet. There is permanent assistance on the site.

Evacuation

There is only one entrance to the site. However, this does not mean that evacuation is not possible on the site. There is sufficient space and evacuation facilities on the site. The emergency exits are clearly visible. In case of emergency, the music will be stopped and instructions will be given via microphone. Stay calm and help each other. In order to ensure easy accessibility to the fire brigade and police, Ooidonkdreef must remain car-free. Any obstacle (parked car, mopeds, bicycles, etc.) may be removed or towed by the organisation to guarantee safety.
